Living inside a giant whale isn't as grand as I often pretended it was.
Lots of scavenging had to be done.
Yet I was proud of myself, I was a survivor, I was capable of anything.
One day UPS was at my door. I know not how or why.
Perhaps I've started to imagine things from loneliness?
How did Pilot get this pale-skinned old man to deliver a package to me?
As the strange old man left I started to wonder... what is the postal code inside the whale?

the aliens ceased to worry about vivisecting an endangered human to repopulate the globe only after they were told the robot got the other one. obviously with the captain dead mr snippy has no chance or doing so. which means the captain must be capable of mating with snippy, a member of the opposite gender and as we know snippy is male captain must be female(who unfortunately is batshit and also into chicks(lusting at billboard on page1))
captain is a chick, the primary model is a chick and says "grab my boob"
as a little girl captain was attacked by a man wishing to drink eye juices(probsbly safest or only water he could find or just nuts) was called little girl by van man

being "given" the very best genes alongside images of the girl being operated on with strange lab equipment
if all male how is it romantically apocalyptic based on what we've seen so far of their relationship?
and in one of snippy's (prophetic?) dream journals(Well dream of this comic if nothing else and it turns out hes just crazy this isn't real) he refers to captain as a purple eyed girl

And what's worse is you didn't even actually respond to what I said! -_-"
*sigh* Nothing makes me LESS calm than people telling me to calm down for absolutely no reason. -_- So annoying.
(Lol, I managed to type "calm" enough times to induce semantic saturation… XD That's when you repeat a word so many times it loses meaning. :P)

Well, as far as lairs go, that's not that bad. I mean it is probably pretty warm in there, since a whale is a mammal there is probably plenty of air in there and even if the air would be poisonous the gas mask will probably be able to filter it out. Also since the whale has to eat there is probably some food in there that Snippy can eat... And why am i thinking about this?

@Skinniest, all #6 seems to suggest is that Captain is crazy. XD On Mr. Snippy's tumblr he said he's pretty sure Captain is a guy because of his voice and height, and that he thinks referring to himself as a girl is just because he's nuts. :P
And lol who knows the cancer purse may prove to be "handy" at some point…stranger things have happened. XD
And I've seen the posters and stuff in the archives. I've seen other things, too, on deviantART. XD

@nmmm, I don't think this is Pilot's memories anymore (he's not in the whale so it can't be), nor do I think it's a dream… I think this is just a flashback, plain and simple.
@Yeady, They haven't escaped Cancer. This is a flashback. I'm pretty sure Snippy doesn't love Captain. It's just that Captain is his only friend. Pilot loves Captain because he thinks Captain is the messiah.

As for an in-universe reason… Perhaps when Snippy escapes he accidentally takes it back with him and then drops it somewhere, and then Captain finds it? :P It's far-fetched but meh. Or maybe the whale coughed it up somewhere, I dunno. Or maybe they're just more common than we thought. That chick in Snippy's flashback had one, maybe they were popular.

It seems that Cancer integrates its victims into itself and Pilot was a little too cracked to injest without a reboot. I think what we've been seeing these last few comics is Pilot's mind being probed.

Wait... What?! I'm not following anything you said here.

1) Just because the primary model is female doesn't mean Captain is. Plus she's only the primary model, not the only model. Captain is also modelled by men. 2) Men have boobs, too. 3) Captain is crazy; that's something he'd say no matter what his gender is.

Just because the man called him a girl doesn't mean he was. He could've been mistaken. Captain was young and wearing a gas mask, after all. Also, Captain may be misremembering, and for that matter, the whole thing might not even have happened. Captain is very much an unreliable narrator.

Very easily.

He also remembered Pilot being a robot and that he was trapped inside a normal-sized fish. It was a poorly recalled dream that he was struggling to remember details from.
I'm not trying to say Captain can't be female, but we just don't know for sure, and I wish people would stop acting like it's a sure thing, because it's not.
