FOOLS!
The creator of RA and his team live in Toronto, Ontario, CANADA. Not 'murica. Canada also uses quarters. I dont think the team intended the main setting country to be of any importance, but its not america, its likely canada, since that's where they live. Even if its not canada, it deffinately isnt america. Cause if it was, any american artist would dump a bunch of their flags all over the place, cause thats what they do.
SILLY MONEY NONSENSE, I'LL REMIND YOU THAT IT WAS A MIRACLE TO GET PAST PASSPORT CONTROL IN SUCH A WAY WITH YOU PEOPLE BICKERING ABOUT CURRENCY EXCHANGE...
@SpriteTheGamer Pilot doesn't know how right he is...wait, or does he? So brilliant, so fragmented. He reminds me of my schizophrenic neighbor, but muchly less annoying and 92.7% more cuddly.
It's looks like the world had some form of global political/Economic system (funded by the Good Corporation Superpac!) and likely used a currency that had it's origins in the american dollar. Probably Good Corporation Dollars.
@Madbat
Credits. The G-dir currency was credits. Not dollars. However, both Captain and Pilot occasionally talk about pre-directorate things. Such as quarters, a denomination of coin used in Canada where the comic is made. Quarters are also used in USA, but the creative team was more likely thinking of the currency they would be using. Canadian currency. Not American dollars.

so Pilot in his infinite wisdom and evident connection to ANNET just told us where Engie is. His confinement in the Moon Back up Base is now canon?
